POOLE LYMPHOMA SUPPORT GROUP

ABOUT THE GROUP:
The group was set up in 2003 by Morag Day, a lymphoma sufferer and Abigail Orchard a clinical nurse specialist in the Haematology Oncology Department at Poole Hospital.

The group is run by the members, for the members to support people who either have or are affected by Lymphoma.  There is no charge for tea or coffee but any donations are welcome and sent to the Lymphoma Association. 

We aim to have a speaker for about one hour during the meeting, but this is not always possible.  Previous topics have included Aromatherapy, Nutrition, chemotherapy drugs and their preparation as well as a most interesting talk about mushrooms.  We don’t always talk about illness!
