COVENTRY LYMPHOMA SUPPORT GROUP

ABOUT THE GROUP:
The Coventry Lymphoma Support Group underwent a re-launch in late 2004 after a few years of dwindling numbers and a struggle to find a regular suitable venue. We are a friendly group, from a wide cross section.

Our meetings take place (generally) on the first Thursday of the month and are usually attended by around half a dozen to a dozen members, though on occasions (notably when we have a guest) there have been around 20 attendees.

The meetings are informal and often light hearted and many friendships have emerged from the close backgrounds that we have all encountered.

New members are made to feel very welcome and we all understand that some people prefer to listen rather than talk about their own experiences. We try to arrange occasional speakers and events and in the past have a reiki master, a reflexology and alternative therapist from the hospital.

MEETING DATES:
7 October
4 November
2 December

Meetings start at 7:00pm

MEETING LOCATION:
Our meetings take place in the church hall at:
Walsgrave Parish Church,
Hinckley Road,
Coventry CV2 2AW

The Church is within a mile of Junction 2 of the M6 and is on a main bus route into Coventry City Centre (31, 32 and 33)

Parking is available in the adjacent pub car park, The Red Lion.
