If the company you work for runs a Give as you Earn (GAYE) scheme you are able to make regular charitable donations straight from your salary, tax-free! This means that if you decide to donate £10.00 each month the cost to you is only £7.50 (assuming basic rate tax).
If your company doesn't run the scheme why don't you suggest it to them? It is good for their business and shows that they are committed to working in partnership with charitable causes. It is easy and inexpensive to run and they can deduct any administrative costs from company profits for tax purposes.
