The BUPA Great North Run - Sunday 19th September 2010, Newcastle
The BUPA Great North Run is the world's biggest half marathon with over 47,000 runners taking to the streets of Newcastle every year. At just over 13 miles long it is an achievable distance yet still a great challenge. It is now in its 26th year and always guarantees an exciting day for the runners and spectators.

The BUPA Great South Run - Sunday 24th October 2010, Portsmouth
The BUPA Great South Run is Britain's leading 10 mile running event. The fast, flat route in Southsea, Portsmouth is the ideal course to record a personal best and is regarded as one of the most popular road races in the United Kingdom.
Taking Part
The Great Run Series operates a ballot system which is only open for a two week period. Applicants can enter online through the Great Run website. Successful applicants will be notified and asked to visit the website to pay their registration fee online
If you are unsuccessful in the ballot, we do have a limited number of guaranteed places available. To run in one of our guaranteed places you must pledge to raise a minimum of £350.00 in the Great North Run and £250 in the Great South Run.
